Enjoy the rest of summer around Brno

Have you been having a good summer? The second half of it is still ahead of us and so here are some tips on how to enjoy the season in Brno and its neighbourhood.
This article is a summary of a presentation made for the BEC partner companies, now available to download for registered BEC members, too.

Just walking through the city centre, you can encounter some interesting concerts. Or travel a little further – the Veveří Castle will host a three-day music festival on August 8-9. A series of classical music open-air concerts will be held at the Špilberk Castle in the second half of August.
More of a dance enthusiast? Every Tuesday evening you can swing near the Petrov Cathedral. Or seize the warm summer nights and visit one of the open air cinemas – in the courtyard of Městské divadlo, at Dobrák lido, and Riviéra.

Every Thursday evening you can taste wine in a garden below the Špilberk Castle. If you’d like to get out of the city for a while, why not try biking on Moravian wine trails? You can also take a guided tour to Moravian wine cellars. Or make it an alcohol-free day and go see a historic windmill.

The complete presentation “Summer in and out” is now available for the BEC members.
