After a year, it’s time to explore another interesting wine place of South Moravia during our traditional August weekend outing. This time we’ll venture to two interesting villages: first to Kobylí which features a special museum, an interesting lookout tower, and then a family winery in the neighbouring Vrbice, famous for its Hobbiton-like wine cellars.

In order to ‘deserve’ the drinking and also properly savour the gourmet experience, we’ll do it the Czech way of course and do a little walking beforehand, discovering the museum, managed by the local ‘aunties’ who will welcome you, going on to the very unusual lookout platform in spiral shape which has been designed to make the lookout accessible even to people with prams or wheelchairs.

We will arive at the Vinařství Horák winery for a guided tasting of 10 wine samples, cold bowls of cheese and charcuterie, a tour of the winery and then a sit-down for a total of about 3 hours. After the tasting, a private bus will be waiting for us at 7 pm directly at the winery to take us back to Brno.

The cost of the trip, including transport, guided wine tasting and refreshments is CZK 790,-.

The event is prepared in cooperation with Vinicze, our English-friendly wine tour provider. To book your place, choose your ticket option and advance payment through their website.
