The former residence of the Liechtenstein family was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as an integral part of the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape, located in the picturesque wine-producing town of Valtice.

After visiting the chateau, we’ll take a walk through the gardens, a special herb garden and a chapel. The area offers possibilities of refreshments too.

Meeting place: at the entrance to the main train station at 8:30 a.m.
Outbound trip: train departure: RJ 1034 Regiojet at 8:48 a.m. to Břeclav station (purchasing tickets ahead is strongly recommended).
Then transfer to the S8 line to Valtice  (tickets can be purchased on-site before departure)
Return trip: S8 train from Valtice to Břeclav station at 3:04 p.m. (tickets can be purchased on-site before departure), then transfer to RJ 1034, departing at 3:41 p.m. (purchasing tickets ahead is strongly recommended), arriving in Brno at 4:12 p.m.
If anyone needs to leave earlier, it is possible by bus 571 followed by train R13 reaching Brno at 3:23 p.m.
