We invite you to the first longer trip of our programme. We’ll go to Předklášteří where you will find a beautiful Gothic portal of the Porta Coeli, a women’s Cistercian convent from the 13th century – a unique structure in this part of Europe, because similar ones are rather found in France.
Our train departs from Brno-Královo Pole train station is at 9.36 a.m., let us meet at 9 a.m. in front of the station. The path from the Tišnov railway station to the monastery is 1.5 km, the walk is easy as it leads through a nice valley. The guided tour of Porta Coeli takes about 45 min. Take snacks with you. After the visit we can stop for a refreshment in a nice local café before going home.  Our return to Brno is between 2 – 2.30 p.m.
Entry is covered by the Spouse Programme, you pay for the train ride.
The number of participants is limited, please register by 19 April via the red button above. In case you register and then cannot attend, please let us know to make room for others.
