After visiting the historic Mahen Theatre in November, you can now compare it with Brno’s modern 1960’s building, the Janáček Theatre, which is home to the opera and ballet companies. It was built in the park that replaced the historic city walls, and with its recently refurbished piazzetta, it is still one of the visible centrepoints of the city’s public spaces.
