Continuing our January personal development series, we’ve invited Lene Janaki Jarstein, a certified well-being and trauma coach and also a member of our network of expat-friendly companies, to offer a chance to move ahead, in focusing on our inner self.

Emotional health: what does it mean, why should we care (a lot) and how do we manage it?

Health – that sounds like a good word. It is a topic that many of us today are deeply and consciously concerned with. We hear much about physical health; diets, exercise, a day at the wellness. Mental health has also become a topic we can more openly talk about, and we know for example that stress and overwork is bad for our mental wellbeing. What about emotional health; what do we know about that? What are emotions really and what role do they play in our lived human experience? What are the consequences of emotional neglect? In which ways can we learn to better connect with, understand and work with our emotional world?

You are invited to join a journey to the inner world of emotions, exploring answers to these questions and perhaps getting to know ourselves a little bit better.
