Most people walk through cities horizontally. One group gazes steadily ahead, glancing sideways occasionally at shop windows. The other is zeroed in on their mobiles. But the cityscape has so much more to offer.
On our walk we’ll be looking down and up this time. Down at the surfaces of streets and pavements and also, with X-ray and pan-temporal vision, at what’s below them now and what was below them in the past. Up at first floors and second floors and higher – roofs, gables, cupolas.
In other words, odds and ends, each with a different, quirky story to tell.
By attending a public event organised by the Brno Expat Centre, I hereby give my consent to the use of photos from the event, which may contain my likeness. These may be used in BEC documentation and promotion materials.
