Join us for another fun outing, this time suitable for the whole family. Together with our friends from NGO Vicinis, we will venture to Pisárky, enjoy a special exhibition and workshop in the Anthropos museum and then explore the forest along the river Svratka towards Old Brno.

The workshop with English native speakers will present the history and culture of native inhabitants of North America – especially those of important Indian tribes from the point of view various cultural regions, environments, ways of subsistence and life habits. Attention will be paid to the everyday life of Indians, the role of women and men, upbringing of children, spiritual life and ceremonies, dwellings, handicrafts, games and warfare. From geographic point of view, Great Plains, North-western Coast, Southwest and Arctic regions are encompassed.

And the most important thing: It won’t be boring! We know it! Why? Vicinis have been there in November and had a whale of a time. 🙂

What you can look forward to?

  • crafts for children
  • tasks and games
  • lot of inspiration
  • storytelling and much more!
