IS THERE FUTURE FOR EXPATS IN BRNO?
Meet Brno City new chief architect, Michal Sedláček, a former expat himself. After numerous years of interruption, Brno finally has its chief city architect. Michal Sedláček, a Brno native, previously lived and worked in New York and Los Angeles (8 years in Frank Gehry office), and spent 3 years in Moscow, Russia.
The meeting will be held in the city architect’s office located in the historical Malý Špalíček at Zelný trh. Michal Sedláček will introduce goals of his office, following informal disccussion topics will include impact of expats on life in Brno and conditions of expats‘ life in Brno. The meeting will be concluded by visiting landmark Alfa pasáž, spol s r.o. and its roof terraces (normaly not open to public) with amazing views of Brno historical centre.
And by the way, they’re looking for an expat urban planner to join their team!
