Wine tasting 'David vs Goliath', March 30

Are Moravian wines as good, if not better, than there International counterparts? Can the underdog beat the giant? Let’s find out.
Join Mike Mazey and discover the best of Moravian wines up against similar wines of similar prices from overseas. To be truly objective, we will try the wines blind (without seeing the label) and you will decide for yourselves what you prefer and if the Moravian example is ‘up to scratch’. Taste wines from New Zealand, Australia, Chile and Austria in the process and learn about the specialties of each country. To make things interesting, a small multiple-choice quiz will be given to test your knowledge and to help you learn about wine in a way that’s both informative and fun. The three prizes awarded are bottles of high quality Austrian and Italian wines. To top off the night, we will try 3 samples of Calabrian wines, an up and coming wine region of Italy. To soak up the 12 wines on offer, Victor, our Sommelier for the evening, will be serving a high-quality Camembert cheese and bread as refreshments.
Venue: Petite Cru, Údolní 11, 7pm
Price: 550,-
Seat limit: 12
Tickets are sold out. Next wine tasting in the pipeline…
